Enter the South Drive and go west - park on the west side (the I-430 side). Enter the West Entrance (A) and go up a half-flight of stairs to the first hallway to the right --- Room 62 on the left. (( If you can not do the half-flight of stairs - you can park in the North Parking Lot and enter the Northwest Entry (B). It is a longer walk but no stairs. Emergency Preparedness We've talked about being prepared and about go-boxes/bags. Recently I have been working on the Scouting America take on Emergency Preparedness in preparation for running a Merit Badge class. Let's review a non-ham/non-communications based view of what we might focus on for preparedness. Public Service Events https://www.carenclub.com 26 May - Memorial Day Ceremony at the Ark State Veterans Cemetery (( Several of the crew from last year can not make this year's ceremony - so I need a few more volunteers. It is a morning event and we are finished before noon. )) The next two -- mark your calendars -- they are big ones with need for a lot of hams! 27 September - Big Dam Bridge 100 Bike Tour 4-5 October - Arkansas Traveller 100 Mile Run Door Prizes LED - and some other stuff   |
